Still House String Band is a five-piece Colorado-based group forging a fresh path in modern bluegrass. From the bar at Peach Street Distillery to the main stage at Telluride, these 2024 Telluride Bluegrass Festival Band Contest winners bring an eclectic mix of Appalachian tunes, jam grass stylings, Nashville standards, and even the occasional Bruce Springsteen cover. Their original songs delve into modern love, heartbreak, and the sweeping high-desert landscapes they call home.

Featuring Kyle Lockhart on mandolin, Clinton Knorpp on banjo and vocals, Everitt Merritt on guitar and vocals, a double bassist also contributing vocals, and Kyle Elliott on dobro, Still House String Band’s dynamic energy and camaraderie shine through in every performance.
