Pokey Lafarge
Grab your tickets HERE! Pokey Lafarge Live at the Almont Resort- February 28th
Pokey LaFarge has spent the last half-decade searching for a home, a journey that led him to Mid-Coast Maine, where he worked long hours on a local farm. That experience sparked a creative resurgence and a deeper sense of purpose, ultimately shaping his newest album, Rhumba Country. With a sound that blends mambo, rocksteady, tropicália, and classic American rock & roll, LaFarge has created his most vibrant and uplifting record yet.
Much of Rhumba Country was written while working the land, with melodies and lyrics emerging as he pushed a plow or scattered seeds. Realizing something was missing, LaFarge took a detour to Los Angeles, where he teamed up with Elliot Bergman (Wild Belle) and producer Chris Seefried to bring the album to life. The result is a kaleidoscopic mix of global influences, rich storytelling, and danceable rhythms. “The songs that naturally come to me are upbeat and make you wanna dance or at least bop your head—they’re all very colorful,” says LaFarge. “I used to think of my music in dark blue, but now I see it in technicolor.”
With his unmistakable voice, magnetic stage presence, and an ear for timeless melodies, LaFarge delivers a sound that’s both nostalgic and refreshingly original. Whether channeling the raw energy of ’60s R&B, the laid-back grooves of reggae, or the playful storytelling of classic Americana, he brings a spirit of adventure and discovery to everything he creates. His latest record is a celebration of joy, resilience, and the journey toward self-discovery.
Don’t miss Pokey LaFarge live at The Almont Resort on February 28th, with special guests Cicada Rhythm. Get ready for a night of infectious rhythms, masterful musicianship, and a performance that will leave you wanting more. Grab your tickets now and experience Rhumba Country live!

Grab your tickets HERE! Andy Frasco & The U.N. have long been the high-flying DIY renegades of the touring scene known and loved for their kaleidoscopic musical fusion and one-of-a-kind onstage audacity. Now celebrating their longevity, the band is shaking things up with L’Optimist (Fun MachineRecords/Soundly), as its title suggests, Frasco’s most hopeful and enthusiastic collection thus far. A testament to Frasco’s wide-ranging influences and boundless energy, his band’s sixth released studio album sees the magnetic frontman continuing to chart his path of self-exploration and personal discovery through increasingly introspective lyricism and musical adventure. Songs like “Everything Bagel (Feat. Artikal Sound System)” and the deeply moving “Iowa Moon” touch on matters of the heart and mental health, emotional struggle and the sheer vulnerability of the human experience, all relayed through a wildly eclectic approach navigating funk, jazz, surf rock, blues, swing, gospel, reggae, exotica, and more with horn-blasted positivity and soulful power. “I fight depression every single day,” Frasco says, “and the only way to fight depression is through optimism. I try to write optimistic songs because optimism keeps me going. As humans, I don't think we're all that much different. Everyone needs a little optimism to keep going.”
Having spent the first part of his career making his bones as a fun-loving frontman with a self-proclaimed “gift of gab,” Frasco pushed his song writing in more personal directions with 2020's Keep On Keepin’ On and 2022’s Wash, Rinse, Repeat.

Boot Juice
Grab your tickets HERE! Boot Juice- Live at the Almont Resort - February 1st, 2025
The evolution of Boot Juice has been a magnificent phenomenon to behold over the past few years. This seven-piece band from Davis has done things the old-fashioned way – earning everything they have with blood, sweat and tears shed on stages throughout the region. It’s been more sweat than anything else based on the practically inhuman volume of energy output they generate throughout the course of their relentless performances.
Boot Juice defies the typical assumption that a big band with horns is sticking to the well-worn path of funk and jazz. They certainly infuse those genres into the mix. More than anything though, this is an unabashed cosmic rock band intent on taking audiences into an alternate dimension of pure freedom and dance euphoria where the outside world ceases to exist. Their three-part vocal harmonies carry major impact with intoxicating doses of soul, blues and sultry appeal. The passionate musicianship and group synergy resonates in their pure sense of joy. Drawing favorable comparisons to the sound of The California Honey Drops and the spirit of the Talking Heads, you’ll have no doubt that the refreshing originality of Boot Juice always has a firm grip on the wheel.
The band has been kicking around the west since 2017, leaving audiences happy, and dance floors sticky. They have kept an ambitious tour schedule, constantly adding to their ever-growing resume of festival and club performances. Noteable festival appearances include Main Stage sets at; High Sierra, Salmonfest, Golden Road Gathering, Sawtooth Valley Gathering, Hangtown Music Fest, Sugar Pine, Redwood Mountain Faire, as well as performing sets at WinterWonderGrass, Whale Rock, California Worldfest, Live Oak, Treefort Fest and many others.
Boot Juice plays music that will attempt to bring you to the street corner, the river side, or the open highway. They released their debut LP album, Speaking in Tones, in May 2019. Followed in March 2021 with their second record, Shifting gears and in October 2023, their third studio album, The Right Place. The group is currently recording its fourth studio LP, which is on track to be released in 2025.

The Fretliners are a genuine and powerful bluegrass quartet recognized for their songwriting and undeniable chemistry. Their newfound camaraderie produces an energy that is as infectious on stage as it is on record. So much so that in the summer of 2023, they won both band competitions at Telluride Bluegrass and Rockygrass Festivals—a feat that had only been accomplished once before. That September, they released their debut eponymous album to acclaim and adoration.
With one eye on the rear-view, inspired by that traditional high lonesome sound, The Fretliners navigate a road less traveled into the peaks of Rocky Mountain original bluegrass.
The Black Canyon Ramblers will be kicking things off at 7PM, with doors opening at 6PM.

Heavy Diamond Ring
Grab your tickets HERE! Some things are just meant to last. When Sarah Anderson and Paul DeHaven met and began playing together in 2004, they had no idea just how deep the well of their musical partnership would prove to be. After the disbanding of indie-folk sweethearts Paper Bird, the duo founded Heavy Diamond Ring and never looked back. HDR is the culmination (thus far) of their signature sound, a fountain of open-hearted, folk-rock, steeped in vocal harmony and group synergy.
Led by Anderson's smooth-as-honey vocals and DeHaven's rugged guitar chops, the band has been described as "open-road, long drive music", having "a little bit of twang, and a whole lot of beef”, and their live show as "infectious and contagious". The band is rounded out by veteran knockouts Blake Stepan (bass), Mike Lang (keys), and Orion Tate Ignelzi (drums). Their second full-length LP, "All Out of Angels", out this fall, was produced by Ben Wysocki (the Fray) and Mark Anderson and features a duet with Nathaniel Rateliff. Out now on Cowboy Cowabunga Recordings.

The Last Revel
Get your tickets HERE! The Last Revel is a three-piece folk group from Minneapolis, Minnesota. Utilizing their multi-instrumental abilities, members Lee Henke, Ryan Acker, and Vincenzio Donatelle, bring a full spectrum of modern Americana to life with lush arrangements of three-part vocal harmonies, acoustic guitar, upright bass, fiddle, and 5-string banjo to consistently support impassioned performances of their honest and heartfelt songwriting. Drawing influence from their salt of the earth Midwest ethos the band’s songs so naturally blend the genres of Folk, Old Time String-Band and Indie Rock to create a sound that echoes the current heartbeat of America.
Their latest release, Dovetail, highlights each member's strength as songwriters and collaborators, and further solidifies their musical foundation after a hiatus beginning in 2019. Self-produced and released under the bands own label, Sheep Sheep Records, Dovetail is the band's fifth studio album.
Support provided by Ragged Mountain Bluegrass! Featuring Dwayne Dodson - Guitar, Bill Hussey - Fiddle, Tom Plant - Banjo, Aaron Robbins - Bass, and Bruce Hayes - Mandolin and Dobro…and everyone sings those ragged but right harmonies. Original, Traditional, New, Old, Hot, Cold, and Bill Monroe.

Bootjuice
Grab your tickets HERE!

Rattlesnake Milk
Grab your tickets HERE! Rattlesnake Milk have a sound that draws its influence from everything from surf pop to psychedelic rock and cowpunk, vintage country to skeletal blues and grunge; but a sound that holds to the limitations of none of those things.
Leaning even further into the “billy” of “rockabilly”, the sound on their latest album, Chicken Fried Snake, feels more refined – a little of the wildness of those earlier releases has been tamed – and all that remains is the raw simplicity of those haunting electric guitars singing in the wind as Lou Lewis manages to wring profundities out of the barest of materials. Imagine The Buckaroos hopped up on speed and fronted by Orville Peck singing the songs of Terry Allen and you’d only be half of the way there.

King Ropes
FREE SHOW! We really appreciate the community supporting our Snowdance winter concert series, and we want to give back by giving you a free show! Super Natural, King Ropes’ fifth album, is at once their most ambitious and most intimate work, expanding the parameters of the band’s desert rock and ragged americana sound. It is buoyed by a directness that brings out Hollier’s most stirring songwriting to date. Hollier has a gift for writing about tragedy and pain with wry humor and conversational bluntness. Long-simmering family trauma, visions of animal reincarnation, mysterious respiratory ailments — all are worthy songwriting prompts as the record vacillates from the pounding rhythms of “Hello Sun” and thick, stoner-rock roar of “Drunk Donny” to the tenderness of “Sure,” a sorrowful, synth-driven ode to regret, and the quietly stunning, disarmingly plainspoken “Breathing”.

Andy Frasco & the U.N.
Don’t miss this one of a kind performance and buy your tickets here!
Having spent the first part of his career making his bones as a fun-loving frontman with a self-proclaimed “gift of gab,” Frasco pushed his songwriting in more personal directions with 2020's Keep On Keepin’ On and 2022’s Wash, Rinse, Repeat.
